Well ANI 07 is officially over.. and to say the least I was kinda hoping it wouldn't end... I really enjoyed ANI, I met new friends, friends that sahre the same passion for teaching and the kids...

3F... hmm what can I say about them?? They're the most abnoxious, most makulit na class that I'll probably encounter till kingdom come.... but at the same time they're the most loving, most wonderful people I'll that meet. They truly made me summer a most memorable one. it will be hard to imagine that I will go to school and not see them or hear them. I love them and I'm damn proud of them. I really hope I could teach next year!!!

Yes, 19 na po ako! last of my -teen years... and what better way to celebrate it with a retreat with my fellow spofficers....

All I can say is that I'm glad that went, because grabeh! sobrang dami kong natutunan sa sarili ko, I even conquered some of my fears (i.e floating and undressing in public), and I get to have a chance to look back at my 18 years (haha.. I got this by doing my own eulogy, on my birthday pa noh.. how ironic) the eulogy will be posted later on the reason of hindi pa siya tapos!! basta super fun yung retreat and I get to spend some quality time with my fellow Spoffs!!!! grabeh sobrang the bomb talaga ang SPOFFS 0708!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arrived from HK... it was a blast.. grabeh!! shopping! adventure! night life! it was the shit, all of the sudden.. i had a vision that I am working there, living there, hopefully it will come true haha...

Disney was not as I would expect it. but finally for once I felt like a kid again!! haha as in super hyper ako...

Hmm... so many things to tell since my last blog entry

CW - had my last area na for the year.. and as expected I cried like a girl (much to my and other people's to cry..dismay) but you know what I think I have every right it's been my area for 2 years (5 if kasama ang time clarence was still there) and time has flown so fast, seeing them grow up and share moments with them and it really breaks my heart to live them, but hey no pain no gain right? And I know that Oz can do justice the position and so I have no reason to worry... I WILL MISS YOU CW.... and now it's EC time.....

I can't believe it has been one month since I last blogged, it's almost the end of the first month of the seventh year of the 3rd millenium already....

if you want to know, life has been going very well for me this past few days, I managed to make myself more diligent in my studies, be more normal and less paranoid in area and live a happier and healthier life...

But still something's bothering me, it's not grades (for the first time I might add), not SPEED (yes, i decide to run again fo council) but for some weird reason it's her, and the weird thing is I don't know what's the problem... I just feel weird.. let's just say is kinda like butterflies in your stomach kinda feel... but we'll see... next month is SAD month after all...

What is a miracle??? Theology defined it as an instant when a deed or an event changed the faith of a someone. PolSci defined it as when people with different POV unite and try to achieve change. And both these definitions applied during the noise barrage...

But first allow me to express my POV at the current issue regarding CON ASS and CON CON:
As I see it, the problem isn't the the mode of gov't but rather those who govern. Administrastion people say that CHA ChA is the way to go in order to motivate change and progress... but on the contrary, it seem to me that this will serve as a mean of expressing their tyrannical rule and their constant paranoia after seeing what happend in the U.S... And should we proceed with CHA CHA.. is the head of the state credible? is she deserving of being called a leader without the mandate of the people...

And now for the miracle part

Let's start with the PolSci definition... just the sight of people with different in every way gather together to fight for what is right
and the theological defintion can be found within myself, for before this, I don't use to care that much about phils. in general, after all what can i do right? but after joining the protest, screaming at the top of my lungs and feeling the epinephrine has awaken the sleeping "aktibista" side of me and now I want to be involve in the protest, I want our country to improve!!

Well it's been a week since we started class.. and i have to say I'm exhausted... imagine in between breaks in every class everyday.. but overall it's been okay

Teacher and predicted grade:

POS100 (Reneses) - mmm a 4th year subject taken by a second year student.. haha mukha naman siyang mabait.. pero am I at a disadvantaged here?? we'll see... pero at least by FEB tapos na (since 95% of the class are seniors and they end at FEB)... grade - C to B

Chinese (See) - I know I know I'm chinese.. so you might think easy A right... wrong... my chinese is bad.. well let's just say average... but manage... she's nince though.. grade - C+ to A

Eco 102 (Tan) - Hay naku... the most boring subject =.. and my prof is absolutely the epitome of boredom,... bahala na si batman..... grade.. any will do basta hindi D and F

Sci10 (Hufemia) - Isa pa ito.. pero mukhang mabait naman eh... at mukhang passable ag course.... grade - C+ to B+

PE (Tai Chi) - it's slow, it's numbing but I think it will be fun.. grade basta pumasa

Psy104 (Aleta) - Sobrang bait niya and mukhang interesting ang course.... grade - C+ to A

Psy103 (Alampay) - Load rev for SPEED but no regrets/... mukha naman siyang mabait and interesting din ang course..... grade - C+ to B+

** Note - dapat hi165 ako (with RJ sana) pero unfortunately nauubusan ng slots for 2nd yr and hi165 kaya pos100 ang nakuha ko.. oh well.. gud luck

In less than 48 hrs... occupation: couch potato is back to diligent (I hope) student... and over sembreak.. I learned some things about me, life and the world....

15 facts/lessons I learned during the sembreak:

1. Weird as it may sounds I lost 10 pounds already... haha

2. Being a couch potato is one of the most exhausting job in the world

3. I'm a NERD.

4. Human beings can compromise and work things out... that's nice

5. I can be smart.. if I want to.. hehe

6. Driving is a very tedious chore.... but very rewarding

7. Isolation is good for one's on mental health...

8. Sleep can be as much exhausing as being awake...

It been a while since I last upload my blog... too busy with very many requirements.. but I about 80% done......

And to tell the truth a lot has happen in the span of 2 months, in fact I think I had the most wildest emotional rollercoaster ride in my existance.. there were some good, happy ones but there are also sad depressing ones... but somehow, someway I'm managed to stay sane and well alive... and with just a few more days it'll be sembreak already.. finally.....

Ima - Happy bday Ima! thank you for treating us for dinner,, It was so great seeing most of them again, after 1 year, I finally got to see them again, some when thinner (made me insecure), some gone fatter (made me pleased with myself), some turned bad (wish i could), some now know how to smoke (count me in), and some didn't changed (I think I changed, don;t know if it's for the better or worse).. but after that me and Karyll, Wil, JB, Alvin (who would have thought that he and JC knew each other, that's dope mhen) and Angelica (Super missed them) went to a KTV bar (take note) in Quezon Ave... okay that's when I realized how *ahem* "INNOCENT" I am still.. for seeing *ahem* creatures of God (more specifically, the ones who are made from adam's rib, accrd. to Genesis) in skimpy clothing, it actually shocked me, my heart palpitated and it was like a "woah" moment.. but nonetheless got over it and enjoyed singing (without the wonderful creatures of god in skimpy clothing, for the record).... It was a great day, and It made me realized how much I missed high school, all the laugh and the pranks I pulled.. haha....

Doubts, Insecurities...

Had my Th121 LT today, well at least 30 percent of it.... I think I screwed that one up.. hay let's just hope I'll pass....

Was OTH yesterday, the shitest ever! my god! so much drama and hay, LOVE.....

Speaking of LOVE, I just noticed that almost everyone I know is "desperately" looking for love, to the extent of STALKING, now granted, I think stalking is weird and cool, but still I don't know why I don't do it or more so why don't I feel that intense feeling of liking someone (well at least YET), now sure, I DO like someone, but the question is DOES SHE like me? Yes, alright I'm afraid of being hurt, I'm scared that she'll turn me down because I'm not "HOT", I'm not "SMART" and hell not "ATTRACTIVE", I'm just an ordinary, overweight (yes alright....), skillless person, who wants love at the same is afraid of it (YET). And I don't know if I'll ever find it, will I be a bachelor forever? Only time can tell, but as of now, I'll just live life as we know it...

NSTP - Well it's okay love the kids... problems lang that i see: The classrooms, HECK! the school itself is inadequte, room badly renovated, chairs partially broken, books are almost like confetti... hay i wish there's something I can do.... and I won't fail na NSTP since I attended the make-up one

En12 - Yey! Finally I submitted my paranoia-starter compilation of sources, which I urned out great, got a B+.. nothing left but to write...

Psy101 - PASSED THE SECOND LT.... that enough is okay...

Kazaa to Limewire - Yes, after 3 yrs of using kazaa, I switched to Limewire..... wala lang haha

LOVE - ahh the touchy subject of love... as of now, I really feel abnormal, practically because I'm not that "desperately" looking for love as of the moment, while some are..... maybe is it because that I'm still immature? Not my priority? Faialed to find that oh-so special someone? or is it because that I'm chubby and cute and not hot, which I come to accept........

Dada- A week ago, I read my dad's cellphone, and there I found a text that practically turned me to the brnik of a nervous breakdown... it's just implying that my dad is cheating... now I have talked to my doubt and I have given him the benefit of a doubt.. but I swear I will protect my mom no matter what!!!

Smoking - Yes, I haven't totally quited yet, but I not addicted either, I'm what you call an occasional smoker, Yes it was inevitable that I will smoke after all my dad is one .... but I'm not going to smoke like a pack a day or smoke daily for that matter, I just do it when I desperately need it....

Okay apprently lab is going well for me as I got a F in the current standings (roughly 5%)... yes I know it's just small.. but the perfectionist that I am... It really got me depressed.... hay

Today was english12 hell day.. woke up late, failed to print the paper I have to print for EN12, late for class..... and shucks everything just went wrong......

Wednesday:
Today was the last day for the submission of the NSTP thing..... to say yes or no.. was such a hard choice.. but I decided to say no..... for I have a SPEED GA to attend..... hay let's just hope they won't fail me... huhuhu

Also I started to compile materials for my En12.. so much books to read.. so little time......... hay life..

SA 21 LT - honestly I don;t have a clue to what my result is going to be.. but it's okay.. kinda hard but okay...

Friday:
Hahaha.. this is like the climax of my paranoia.... apparently this was the time that it daawned to me , the consequences that they (kaingin) might fail me for not attending it... and oh my god has it affected me.....

Yes! after all the hell I've gone to.. I did something I swear never to do.. that is to smoke..... yes I know it's bad.. but you know what.. it kinda cleared my mind and help me clam my nerves.. haha but it would be something that I WON'T get addicted to.. I promise

Saturday:
SPEED GA.... the day I found if the cut was all worth it.. and it was.. had so much fun (LOVE YOU SPEEPS!!).. now just hoping that everything will be okay..

Sunday:
Okay if there was something good that happened to me this week was I got to go to MALL of Asia... it was big all right.. but smaller than I expected.. my feet didn't evern got sore .... haha

But know I'm paranoid again.. because my CBA is on tuesday and as of now, out of the 22, only 6 reply.. and it's freakin me out.. and it might trigger me agin to smoke... hopefully not.... huhhuhhuh

So that's me week.. was it hell? YES! can it get and worse? HELL YES.... cause this week is HELL WEEK... wish me luck..... wah!!!

Just watched SUPERMAN RETURNS, starring Brandon Routh (who I might quote from a girl sitting at the back of me int he cinema as "YUMMY") and the ever smokin' Kate Bosworth and the ever talented Kevin Spacey...

Honestly, I didn't like the movie... Sure, visually, the effects are effective. Performance wise, they all did pretty decent job (kudos on Kevin Spacey)... and I like the fact that they portray Superman as a human..... but for me.. the plot is very shallow, though there are the giddy moments, but still the story wasn't as "wow" as I expected. Also I hate the fact that it's more of a "love story" rather than a action story....... but overall it was okay..

OTH... what can I say.. I was like crying when Peyton's mom died.......... yun lang.. super!!!

Yes you heard it.. I don't know why but it has been almost 2 weeks since school started, but somehow I'm not happy, It's like I'm more happier with my class sched during my freshmen days (everday 730-12), because of our sched (that REALLY SUCKS!), our block rarely goes out anymore (which I was starting to get more into...), I tend to get tired more often (due to inconsistent wake up times).. if only I could turn back time, hay.... but sadly can't oh well... I'll managed, My block will managed... and SUPER hoping that everything will work out for me (both in studoes and in life in general...)

Yesterday was Charmie's debut..... love it! it was fun, and for the first time I experienced the18 roses thing.. scared the shit out of me but it turned out okay... the food was nice (except that the soup is "malansa", the beef is way to underdone for my taste, and the desert is way to sweet for my taste).... what stole the show (for me) are the musical numbers, especially the Miss Saigon/Rent songs.. it was so cool.. i was like singing like a lunatic (with justine and her YOUNGER sister).. pero overall it was super fun... Thanks again Charms!!

Todday I watched the disney original movie "High School Musical", the plot is kinda One Tree Hill-ish (Nathan and Haley storyline) only it's a musical... and all I can say is that the movie is the SHITEST!!!!!! I mean the song are nice and the one that plays Gabriella is smokin' hot!!!! shit! I super wish I can sing, then i can be in broadway.... can you just imagine our world like a musical, where everyone sing.. I damn wish I could live there!!!!

First day of school as a sophie... felt kinda weird again seeing that much people, adjusting to the new time of the classes, new SPEED tambayan (which is the bomb!!) , and new faces of the freshies...

PE- aerobics (yes, don't ask why!) =- hmmm... yes I'm well-rounded and no need to point it out, I have accepted the fact that it'll take a miracle for me to get thin (esecilly when you think our "well-roundedness" is genetic)... but I think it'll be okay and fun and tiring.

PSY 101 - Got Sagmit. Some say he's hard, I hope not..... pero still grabe yung psy101, if you fail the acad side or the enrichment side, you fail the subject.. shoot.. gotta study hard......

Grabe in just hours, it's time for school again, no more lazy days, no more waking at noon, no more unlimited supply of food.... pero it's okay I'm super excited about see my blockmates (aww!! former blockmates, I will miss you guys!!!).. pero

Alas! the SPEED thing isn;t over yet. CW said that it is okay to have area on tuesday (which is my only available day for area), but the council is iffy about it.... apparently they want to reatain the area and make us "invisible" area heads. which I think is wrong, bec first of all, we might never make to our area at all. Second, what's the purpose of being elected as an area head if you can exercise it. And now my mother is starting to get mad at me for "priortizing SPEED over school" (which is false, because I took a commitment to SPEED and I want to fulfill it at the same time being with my block, because I love them!!), and she's asking me to resign (whic I swear I will never do.... i hope)... oh well wish me luck guys!!!

Okay.. it's reg day for the summer class.. and god help me!!!!

went to school around 930 to fix my schedule.... I was supposed to take Lit14, Fil14, and FLC (foriegn language).. and then my turned came..

at first I wan to take cayanan's class for lit14, but apparently it got closed,, I looked for alona guevarra's class, but that got closed also.. and in the end I got Luisa Reyes (okay naman siya)
as for fil 1, there was no problem... then there's FLC which got bad..

initially I was supposed to take chinese or french but all french classes are closed and the chinese that i was supposed to take (because i have a chinese background) is conflicting with my lit class.. o after wandering around for 2 hrs more... i came up with the decision to changed to FLC to asian history (which is also considered an elective for the minor degree I'm aiming for).. so there..

Every holy week, my family, my uncle's family, my lola and I always go somewhere........ and this year's destination... SUBIC!!!

Alas, it like super hot, and being with your them for 4 days, can be really tiring... but I enjoyed it.. I think

Facts I learned from subic....

- In my family, your are forbidden to take baths longer than 30 mins.

- Aside from cockroahes, rats, lizards, dog, cats, heights (a little), I found out that I also have a fear of tigers, snakes and bees...

- You can get sunburn without going to the beach...

- The older you get, the less interest you have for buying and eating food...

- Grandparents are a very good source of extra income...

- I will never ever be a vet or anything that has to do with animals...

- Reality can be escaped.....

well that's about it, tommorrow I will get my grades, and yes I'm nervous as hell, my heart is beating like mad..... wish me luck........

Yes.. yesterday was, I would consider, one of the best days of my existance....

I finally drove to GLORIETTA!!!!!!
- Yes.. I know it not much but for me, it was the longest distance I drove without supervision......

RENT!
- After 4 months of waiting.. I finally got to watch RENT!!! and boy it was good!! it was awsome and It's a rock musical (finally!!!)... looking for the soundtrack now....

If there's something that the movie taught is that.. life is so short and we can leave this world anytime, so we should live a life not of regret and fear but of happiness even there are lot of problems along the way. We should also respect those who are different from what the norms of society dictates... Gays, Lesbians, Aids Positives, despite their differences with us, they are still human beings.

Finally after completing all school requirements.. it's fuego time!!!!

And all I can say is that I had the time of my life... just getting away from the noise and my dehumanised life here in manila is already enough.. but being around friends and with nature itself was truly relaxing and somewhat reignite that flame that has been lost inside of me.

Seeing the stunning coral reefs, the magnificent sunrise and sunset, and the endless sea, makes me realize that I'm pretty lucky to be where I am and that life is beautiful, life is worth living. It also help me to think about the future, reflect on my past and just enjoy the present.

My blockmates (drunk and sober) are the best blockmates you'll ever get. To be honest, I figure out in the past that I'm socially unfit for the ateneo, but they prove me wrong... so I thank you blockmates for giving me the vacation of my life, and to those who are going to shift out (aldric, denise, ck, meggie...) thanks for the memories and good luck in your studies and don't forget to visit us... hahaha

Okay... It's already 130 in the morning and I'm still awake doing my paper...

My dad came home around 1, drunk (as usual), and he started to talk gibberish, and suddenly he offered me an offer I can't refuse; he said he's allowing me to drive to school, now of course I would've screamed for absolute joy, but here's the catch, I have to be home by 9! 9! for freakin' sake, that's like way too early for me (trust me it will be), and what about if I have parties? he said he'll make "hatid -sundo", WHAT??? "hatid - sundo", my god! he's treating me like I'm still a kid (saying that I can't handle the responsibilty), but still...... I accepted, and plan to negotiate the terms, stretching my deadline to at least 11.... hopefully

ooh! I almost forgot, you know what's the one speech that I can't argue with? it's the "hindi kita pinagaaral sa college upang gumimik" speech, yep my parents know that I really really appreciate thir effort to let me study and the ateneo and I can't argue with that, but still..... what would college life be like without social life??? I don't even want to know...

In less than 24 hrs, 2005 will be over. It's time for me once again to recall all the events that happened to my pathetic existance....

After leaving the shell that is high school. My classmates and I went out to the big sea of life, not knowing what predators or dangers lie ahead. I swam intrepidly against the waves and the storms and found myself in the isle that is Ateneo de Manila University. There, they have accepted me and help to grow for the good. (truly miss you Batch Dragonz!!... reunion!!!)

At first life wasn't easy, after all coming from a long trip can really zap you out your strength and
the feeling of miss you friends can really take a toll on you. But somehow I managed to overcome it with the help of my ever fun blockmates. Blockmates, thank for helping me adjust to my college life, your truly are, as samm (drunk, i ight add) would said: "THE BEST BLOCKMATES EVER!!!"

Ateneo has given me the power to expand my social abilties. Whether with the help of Parties (with booze...DUH), gimmiks (Movies at gateway, Karaoke wit eastwood ), pusoy or poker seesion (boy tupe!) or with the kooky but fun Speples (Spthank Spyou.....). Yet, Ateneo has also given me lots of sleepless night (not to mention "sabog" days), breakdowns (emotional definitely), and hell days (They pray you'll keep me Mary, sanely true). But overall, I would life has been a blast, For it had shown me there is more to life can really suck, but without it life can really suck as well.

Add 365 days, 8760 hours, 525600 minuets, 31536000 seconds, 20 cds, over a hundred thousand for my tuiton free, 8000 spent on everyday needs, hundreds of kilometers walked, countless shots of booze, countless laugh trips and a lot of "Oh my god", "breast augmentation", "Pulchritude", "Fabilioh", "Hwat?!", "Mehn", "Jose Cuervo","Lapdances", "Area", "Caf", "Penguin", and more to that. What do you get?

A freakin' incredible year full of Fun, love and livin'.... HAPPY NEW YEAR

Just came home from our Evaluation Seminar for SPEED in Baguio City...........

1. It was a VERY LONG TRIP *can't feel my butt*.

2. Rode the *ahem* "NUTS SHUTTLE* going to Baguio (along with Ericka, Bambie, Niq, Cam, Ben and RJ), where did we get that name..... figure it out for yourself....

3. Stopped over in Luisita Mall, Tarlac, saw there women's underwear selling for 10 pesos..... I wonder.......

4. It was very cold in Baguio...... duh!!!

5. Live in Bambie's House (Thanks!!), it was a old house... that's why I'm soo excited (hope I can see a ghost...)

6. Went to SM in Baguio........... that's another SM to be added to my list of SM gone to....... halfway upon completion....

7. I can see smoke everytime I speak... COOL!!!!!

8. I learned the art of POKER..... now I'm addicted to it... help!!!!!

9. We talked about stuff, both about life and the org...

10. Meal for the 2 nights..... PASTA, PASTA, PASTA

11. Drank Vodka..... it felt warm to the body...

12. The first time I saw a fire place..... it was Cool!!!

Today I got a D sa 2nd long test sa Fil (yehey!!), Watch the 40 yr old virgin (yehey!!)

But no matter how happy I m during the interval of 1030 am to 3pm....... all that turn sour when I got my pre-final standing in Fil.... with 90% computed my standing is 63.2 and the passing is 63. I only passed by 0.2, And the worst part is that there's still 10% (Uh-OH).... Should I pass that, no prob na... what if nabagsak ko...

Well our prof has a solution: On monday, we'll have a nice heart to heart to with him and the million dollar question: "What is the most important thing you learned in Filipino??" and I have 3 days to reflect for the answer... if he like the answer he'll pass us.. not then I don't know na.....

So I need all the help I can get.... and I ask of you the reader to pray for me as I go through this tough time......

Finally it's done, my first semester as an atenean freshman has come to a close. My finals are already done and now I just have to wait, pray and hope. Hope that my math will be at least a B, my Sciences with at least be a C+, my En10 will be a S, and of course my filipino will be a D (pls....).

Overall, I would say it was a okay 1st semester, despite having emotional breakdowns, suicidal intentions and sleepless nights. It was also a time where I grew more as a person, expanding my social skills, limitations, knowledge and of course friends.

To my college friends, thanks for helping me with the first rough semester (7 more to go!!!) . Thanks for cheering me up during those stressful and emotional days, and I hope I can count on you guys for cheering me up again in the next 7 semester (assuming that I don't get kicked out). Thank you also for being patient with me during those days when I'm hyperactive, sabog and moody, and trust me you'll be expecting more... hehe

To my bestfriend Kerwin, thank you for always being there when I need someone to talk to...

To my Profs and the Lord, Thank You!!!!

SPAR or Speed amazing race is a test of wits and strength.... though feeling sick, sige pa rin... (ang tanga tanga ko talaga).... kagroup ko sila Kat, Casper, Edith (area head ko...), Niq (sayang she left early), Dex, it was fun kahit na nakakapagod, I kept thinking na "nakakapayat ito....", nanalo ung group nila Makaw (prez.....) so congrats!!!!!, should have stayed for the water ballon fight, pero ben and I need to go home......

Woke up 5:30am to assist Ate Amy (our maid... thanks again for helping) in preparing the ham and hotdog..... after that it's off to ateneo.......

When i got to the venue, we're faced with a LOT on bread, so we spent almost the whole morning assembling the sandwhiches, though it was kinda fun (nakakahigh ung crumbs ng bread,hehe), pero sayang di ako gaano nakasali sa mga games, kailangan ako sa table...... shet

All in all, I want to say that I made the right decision joining SPEED, and though this week hell for me you have given the fuel to carry on........ thanks SPEPLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week was very very stressful to me, I have to study for two long test for next monday in zoology, both of which I really need to pass, so I have been sleeping almost 3 hrs a day (shit! mahirap talaga magpuyat!), actually noong thrusday nakasakit akom pero nonethless kailangan pa rin pumasok, dahil natatkot akong bumagsak (lahat naman tayo di ba...), at saka kailngan ko samahan ung SPEED (woohoo!!!) for family day (more on that later), so yun hopefully sana pumasa na ako mga yun (Penguin and Catwoman! I Hate u.... hehe)
